WeBSEFF - Western Balkans Sustainable Energy Financing Facility

WeBSEFF is a financing facility under which the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) provides credit lines to partner banks in the Western Balkans to on-lend to businesses and municipalities wanting to invest in energy efficiency and small-scale renewable energy projects.

Budget allocation: € 92 million

Chemical Leasing is a business model based on the Resource Efficient and Cleaner Production (RECP) concept, which promotes the efficient use of resources, minimisation of waste and emissions, and reduction of health and environmental risks. Chemical Leasing is also in line with the UNIDO strategy on inclusive and sustainable industrial development, which aims to create shared prosperity and safeguard the environment.

TESPI - Tool for Environmentally Sound Product Innovation

TESPI is a free web-based tool aimed at supporting environmentally conscious design, taking into account the product life cycle, the customers’ needs and competitors’ products. It has been developed to support the first steps of product design, as well as redesigning existing products - in particular, modular manufactured articles that can be disassembled and each component analysed.

In the framework of the ABP Programme, the KÖVET Association collects measures, projects and investments that are environmentally and economically advantageous. Through case studies, it shows that spending on environmental protection is not 'money thrown out the window', but can also be financially beneficial and give environmentally-conscious businesses and organisations economic benefits.
