Last call for suppliers- Japanese railway sector buyer's tour in EU


Dear Cluster Partners,
 
The EU-Japan Centre (EEN-Japan) is pleased to announce the JR East Suppliers Tour!
 
East Japan Railway Company (JR East) is a private company which owns railway infrastructure and operates 13,000 trains per day in the northern part of Japan, including the Tokyo Metropolitan area. With a 7,500 km rail network, the company has extensive experience in the operation and maintenance of high-speed, urban and regional trains.
 
The JR East delegation coming from Japan (including rolling stock, signalling and track experts) will visit two European cities, Munich and Brussels, to meet with European suppliers from across Europe and discuss business opportunities.
 
The Suppliers Tour will be held in:
Münich, Germany on Tuesday, 16 May 2017
Brussels, Belgium on Thursday, 18 May 2017
 
This year again, European Suppliers will have the opportunity to discuss bilaterally with the JR East delegation on various topics including – but not limited to – rolling stock, tracks and signaling.
 
Deadline for sending Expressions of Interest is April 26th , 2017.
 
The information of the venue and further details of meeting agenda will be provided by the first week of May.
