In a second step, the tool helps to identify actions required and develop concrete measures for CO2-emissions reduction, which also provides a good basis for identifying potential material and energy efficiency gains.

Compressed Air Efficient helps by optimising a company's energy consumption and reducing costs in compressed-air applications. An additional Excel-Tool provides information about the life-cycle costs of the compressed-air system.

The CO2-Tool provides assistance by assessing a company's CO2 emissions during production and highlighting where improvements can be made. Areas with high energy reduction potential are machines, compressed air, air-conditioning and cooling systems, space heating, etc.

The Cleantool provides assistance in assessing and planning metal surface cleaning processes through a database of good practice examples. These processes were invented in small and big enterprises which means they have a proven track record.

The Construction Waste Tool comprises several valuable aids to properly assess, manage and optimise a company's construction waste streams. It also presents ideas and opportunities on how to build with recycable materials and provides information about the separation of building rubble during demolition.

The Exhaust Heat Calculator helps a company to evaluate its exhaust-heat potential. After entering basic data about the company's waste-heat sources, the tool calculates the available amount of waste heat and provides information on whether it makes sense to use it. In addition, the reasonable investment costs are estimated and the necessary operating time of the system is specified.

This tool calculates CO2 emissions for SMEs and points out potential ways to reduce emissions.
