This input paper presents the economic profile and the cluster landscape of four selected countries in Southeast Asia — Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand and Vietnam. These four countries have previously been selected based on several quantitative and qualitative factors. The first part of this paper shows the economic profiles of these four countries, which is followed by an assessment of key value chains between the EU and the four selected countries.
