Description

The European Cluster Collaboration Platform, on behalf of the European Commission, and in partnership with the General Directorate of Innovation and Digital Transformation of the Balearic Government, jointly organise the next 'Clusters Meet Regions' and Matchmaking event in Palma, Spain, on 14 and 15 May 2025.

This event is designed to accelerate the adoption of circular economy practices in the Balearic Islands, leveraging the collaborative power of clusters. The proposed format is a dynamic and interactive one-and-a-half-day event, aligning with the objectives of promoting sustainable economic development through circular principles in the Balearic Islands.

CONTEXT AND OBJECTIVES

Following the successful series of events “Clusters meet Regions” organised since 2022 in different EU regions, these events bring together clusters and policymakers of the EU, national, regional and local level to learn from each other how to better use clusters to strengthen industrial ecosystems, to serve national/regional economic development and to liaise with other regions facing similar transition challenges.
