United Visual Researchers: SME beneficiary of the SILEO 2nd Call for Business Digital Transformation Projects

United Visual Researchers
Congratulation to United Visual Researchers, a French SME awarded under the SILEO 2° Open Call for Business Digital Transformation Projects!
United Visual Researchers was created in 2017 to give designers and engineers a more efficient, reliable, and cost-effective way to build, test, and refine multiple prototypes and mock-ups in an interactive way. By combining years of experiences in large industries and scientific research, UVR developed cutting edge optical simulation software offering physics-based rendering, integrated with virtual reality.

Business Digital Transformation Project
The SILEO Business Digital Transformation project titled “Measure&Predict1” aims to explore the feasibility of incorporating the spectral BRDF measurement of a material into the UVR PREDICT Engine tool and to assess the compatibility of exchange formats between the two systems. It will also evaluate the enhancements to the renderers to determine the benefits of utilizing precise and custom measurements in the light simulation tool. This project will be implemented in collaboration with the technology provider MATEREAL, specializing in the spectral BRDF measurement of materials and the adaptation of output formats for various renderers. The process for incorporating materials provided by the technology provider will be tested, including a feasibility evaluation of an SDK approach for future integration of materials from MATEREAL's standalone measurement platform into the UVR PREDICT Engine. The improvements in performance enabled by the project will enhance the efficiency and reliability of the results obtained with the UVR PREDICT Engine tool. Consequently, the project will boost the efficiency of virtual twinning, providing numerous advantages for the customer.
United Visual Researchers will receive indirect funding (€ 5.000) from the European Union’s Single Market Programme through the SILEO project (GA N.101074564).
Congratulations!
