The Swelife project is funded by the Swedish Government. Swelife acts as a facilitator and supports collaboration within academia, industry and healthcare, with the goal to strengthen Life Science in Sweden and to improve public health. Swelife aims to utilise the knowledge and resources available through collaboration and to provide conditions to support sustainable growth and international competitiveness in the life science sector. More than 100 organisations from healthcare, academia and industry support Swelife. In 2018, the budget reached SEK 65 millions (EUR 6.3 millions). The main success factor of Swelife is that it gathers the Life Science regions in Sweden under one common national research and innovation agenda.
