The measure is aimed at stimulating innovation potential and cooperation between academia and enterprises to ensure the transfer of acquired information into practice and as a tool to support R&D aimed at practice. The ambition is a gradual increase in corporate R&D expenditures. At the same time, the activity will contribute to fulfill RIS3 SR, as well as Specific Recommendations for the country, especially in relation to the support of business research and development, with support in the field of technology transfer and transformation being an important part of the measure in the context of the fourth industrial revolution. The main objective of this measure is to strengthen interconnections between academia and business and increasing the productivity of the business sector. Anchoring is also achieved this cooperation and the creation of long-term partnerships between these actors and the generation of new opportunities and opportunities for further cooperation outside the support of the ESI Funds. Activities supported under this measure have to support the increase of inputs and outputs in research and innovation in the Slovak Republic. There should be an increase on the inputs side of domestic business R&D expenditure and improvement of the innovation capacity of SMEs.
