With the start of the new year, the Silesian Aviation Cluster (industry partner), the Vocational Training Institute in Katowice (project leader), and the Silesian University of Technology (academic partner) have launched the SkyPort Skills Center (BCU SkyPort). This initiative is part of a nationwide network of 120 Sectoral Skills Centers aimed at developing competencies in various economic sectors.

BCU SkyPort, focusing on the operation of airports and terminals, addresses the growing demand for specialized skills in the dynamically developing aviation sector. As an innovative training center, it offers programs tailored to the needs of the modern job market.

The center provides a variety of courses and training sessions targeted at aviation enthusiasts, students, adults, teachers, and lecturers. The training programs focus on developing technical and operational skills in airport management, offering in-depth knowledge in safety, logistics, and aviation technology. Through collaboration, SkyPort aims to raise educational standards and create a platform for knowledge and experience exchange.
