Congratulations to DOMINI LEGNAMI SRL an Italian furniture SME awarded under the SILEO Open Call for Talent Placement Projects! 

DOMINI LEGNAMI SRL is the only sawmill of first and second transformation in the province of Gorizia and Trieste that has been operating in the wood sector for more than 70 years. They were the first in the region to obtain the authorization to carry out high temperature heat treatments (ISPM-15) for export to safeguard pest infestations between continents. Every year they saw and process about 18,000 cubic meters of logs of spruce and white, pine, black and strobo, European larch, beech and oak, to transform them into sawn and semi-finished products used in carpentry. In recent years DOMINI LEGNAMI has also been interested in sawing Paulownia.

SILEO Talent Placement Project

Within the SILEO Talent Placement project, DOMINI LEGNAMI SRL aims to enhance and streamline the digitalization processes, spanning from production planning to the generation of orders and load lists, to establish a more effective connection between the office and production. The new Talent will be responsible for analyzing the production department and logistics, then developing a suitable model utilizing technological solutions. His involvement in the DOMINI LEGNAMI team will support the company’s digital and green transition.

DOMINI LEGNAMI SRL will indirectly receive funding (€ 4.000) from the European Union’s Single Market Programme, via the SILEO Eurocluster Project (GA N.101074564).
