EU Industry Days 2025, 5-6 June 2025, Rzeszów, Poland - Call for Proposals for Stakeholder Sessions

The EU Industry Days are Europe’s flagship annual event focussing on key industrial policy discussions, connecting industrial frontrunners, and boosting the knowledge base of European industry.
The EU Industry Days 2025 will take place in Rzeszów, Poland, on 5 and 6 of June 2025. This event is organised by the European Commission with the support of the Polish Presidency of the Council of the European Union.
It provides an opportunity to companies, entrepreneurs, organisations, national ministries, regional authorities, and other industrial stakeholders to organise their own sessions as part of the official EU Industry Days programme.
Submitted proposals will be selected by the European Commission.
Reasons for organising a session
If you or your organisation want to contribute to shaping the discussion on European industry and industrial policy, the EU Industry Days is the right platform.
The EU needs an active and engaging dialogue with industry players to increase EU competitiveness and prosperity. Have your voice heard by organising your session at the EU Industry Days 2025.
Themes of your session
We wish for the program to centre around the three following themes.
Competitiveness and Decarbonisation
Creating lead markets for clean technologies, accelerating decarbonisation and circularity, increasing clean energy, developing framework conditions and infrastructure, strengthening the single market.
An Innovative Industry
Increasing and derisking investments, upskilling and reskilling, enabling start-ups and scale-ups to thrive, fostering critical technologies, and promoting R&I.
Increasing Security and Reducing Dependencies with EU Industry
Strengthening defence, building and ensuring the resilience of EU value chains, facilitating access to critical raw materials, and supporting Ukraine’s recovery.
Selection criteria
The European Commission will select about 10-15 stakeholder sessions across the EU Industry Days 2025 themes. The selection will be based on the following criteria
- relevance to the EU Industry Days 2025 themes
- European relevance (meaning topics extending beyond national considerations)
- dynamic and interactive formats allowing for engagement with participants
- balance of the coverage of the themes
The following criteria are considered advantageous and are encouraged
- appropriate geographical and gender balance of speakers
- inclusion of young (below the age of 35) speakers/panellists/other roles
The Commission has discretion to select the sessions based on the above-mentioned criteria. Unsuccessful candidates will be informed, but individual feedback cannot be provided.
Practicalities and Commission support
- Each selected session will be allocated a timeslot of 1 hour on the agenda and will feature as part of the EU Industry Days official programme on the website and other related materials.
- The sessions will be held onsite at the event’s venue in Rzeszów, Poland. Travel and accommodation expenses of speakers may be covered upon request.
- This can only be ensured for up to 2 speakers per stakeholder session and only one night of accommodation is covered.
- Furthermore, please note that travel and accommodation will not be arranged for speakers representing public authorities.
- All speakers and session organisers are required to be present onsite in Rzeszów.
- Promotion of the session through the EU Industry Days communication channels.
- Promotion of the results: The organisers of the sessions shall submit short summaries of the sessions, which may be used in the Commission’s future communication about the EU Industry Days, including the EU Industry Days 2025 summary report.
- Due to the time-limit of each session and the stage configuration, applicants should aim for a maximum of 4 speakers per session.
