The European Commission is soon launching a quarterly newsletter targeting EU technology centres, SMEs looking to bring their innovations to market or to adopt new technologies, investors, and business support organisations interested in the topics of innovation and technology transfer. Drawing from a wide variety of sources and from the expertise of technology centres, the EMI Technology Centres newsletter will offer readers regular updates on relevant events, funding opportunities, policy initiatives and developments in the technological landscape, zooming in on technologies that EU industry should watch out for. Readers will be able to learn more about Europe’s leading technology centres, discover their inspiring stories, and find out how they are fostering the uptake of advanced technologies by industry and helping to bring innovations to market. The EMI Technology Centres Newsletter is an initiative created under the European Monitor of Industrial Ecosystems and linked to its Technology Centre Mapping tool, which allows SMEs, start-ups, and other stakeholders to explore the services offered by approximately 400 technology centres across Europe, including access to technology expertise and facilities for testing, demonstration, pilot production, product validation and certification. Through the tool, SMEs can identify and contact technology centres which are located within their region and which offer services aligned with their needs. Explore the tool here.

Does your cluster collaborate with technology centres? Then share our message with them: encourage them to apply for our Technology Centre Mapping and to tell us their story of how they have helped industry adopt advanced technologies and bring new innovations to market.
