Circular Wallonia

The Belgium region of Wallonia has adopted the Walloon Strategy for the deployment of the circular economy “Circular Wallonia”. The strategy enables Wallonia to respond to several challenges: promoting a sustainable recovery of the economy, reducing the impact of economic activities on the environment, creating local jobs that cannot be relocated, reducing the Region's dependence in supply of raw materials and energy and increase the attractiveness of Wallonia. The strategy mentions clusters as key agents of change - notably through the participation in circular economy projects.
