ASSELUM LUMINOTECNICS SL is a business company that was born in 2002 in response to a growing technology and standardization in the lighting sector. ASSELUM LUMINOTECNICS provides solutions in the design of lights, tests of light sources and lights, training in lighting and sales and service of optical design software and lighting calculation. Additionally, ASSELUM LUMINOTECNICS is one of the most important laboratories of photometries in Spain with more than 10,000 tests realized to all type of light sources.

Automation and Digitalization of Luminotechnical Testing project

The objective of the advanced project “Automation and Digitalization of Luminotechnical Testing” (ADLT) is to develop and implement an automated system to efficiently conduct photometry tests, which are currently performed manually in ASSELUM’s laboratory. Automating and digitalizing the testing and data collection process will significantly increase laboratory efficiency and eliminate errors associated with human intervention in constant setup and measurement. To execute the ADLT project, ASSELUM will collaborate with technology provider Maqmetal Automation SL, whose team includes professionals from lighting manufacturing companies, giving them in-depth knowledge of the metrics and measurement instruments used in the ASSELUM laboratory.

ASSELUM LUMINOTECNICS SL will receive indirect EUR 10.500 from the European Union’s Single Market Programme through the SILEO Eurocluster project (GA 101074564).
